The Burnt Thicket Theatre has been open since 2007. Their inaugural production, Hockey Dad: A Play In 3 Periods, has been performed over 40 times in cities all across Canada including Red Deer, Edson, Cold Lake and Calgary. In 2011 this theatre partnered with Raise Their Voice to produce the very special production, She Has A Name by Andrew Kooman.

The main goal of the Burnt Thicket Theatre is to simply enliven audiences through a variety of different original performances. That is why they put on several shows at different times throughout the year. Being that the shows change on a regular basis, it is best to check the site for updates.

Some of the shows that have been performed in the past include Twinkle, Solo Joe, Fringe on the Ranche, She Has a Name, We Are the Body, and the Big Picture. For an updated show list, please visit: http://www.burntthicket.com/shows.
