Located on 3rd Avenue in downtown Cochrane, Alberta you will find an extraordinary art gallery and studio which appeals to an overabundance of art enthusiasts. Celebrating seven years in business, the owner, Janet B. Armstrong, a local artist, has truly created an atmosphere of intrigue that is inviting to everyone.
Operating hours of Imajan Art Gallery & Studio are Thursday and Friday 12pm to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm or by private appointment.
Dogs and Ice Cream
Imajan is such a different sort of environment. Visitors will see the proof when they read the sign by the door which says it all. “Dogs and Ice Cream Welcome” You might think your eyes are deceiving, but the owner truly means what is written. Your friendly canine is welcome to visit or, if you are enjoying a delicious sweet treat next door at the ice cream parlour, never fear. Come on in!
As you enter the gorgeous cherry wood bar with a brass foot rail and vintage memorabilia add to the tranquil mood of the gallery. Admiring her paintings on the wall or observing the artist at work in her onsite studio, it is truly an experience not to be missed.
