Did you know there is a wolfdog sanctuary in town that rescues wolfdogs and keeps them safe? The Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary provides a safe sanctuary for wolfdogs that have been abandoned and neglected, provides education on wolfdog ownership and educates on the importance of preserving their natural environment. About Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary

The sanctuary is 160 acres in size and currently has a pack of 5 resident wolfdogs plus adoptable wolfdogs. They provide a safe rescue for neglected, displaced and abandoned wolfdogs. In addition the sanctuary provides educational programs on

The Big Hill Leisure Pool is found in the town of Cochrane and provides the community with a great aquatic facility. This facility provides plenty of fun for those looking for an aquatic centre within the area. Here's what you can expect at the Big Hill Leisure Pool.

The pool opened back in March of 1990 and provides swimming lessons for about 4,000 people very year. The pools, combined hold about 375,000 litres of water. This facility covers about 14,000 square feet and the new facility approved by the council could be as large age 80,000 square feet.

  • A tot area in the leisure pool
  • Large changing rooms
